Climate: It has a Mediterranean sub-desert climate characterized by low rainfall, strong sunshine and a high average temperatures (between 16º and 21º).
Highest peaks: Cerro del Fraile (492 m), Cerro Peñones (488 m), Cerro del Garbanzal (411 m), Cerro de la Tortola (369 m), Cerro de la Revenge (363 m), Molata (351 m) and Mesa Roldán (222 m).
Fauna and Flora: The scrub is the highlight of it, with many species that have adapted to the harshness of the climate. Accompanying this, we find a rich and varied flora, formed by different endemic species.
The bird population is the largest in the mountain, but we can also find a variety of invertebrates, especially butterflies, grasshoppers and dragonflies, among others. Other animals to consider would be the boar and foxes, hares, rabbits, hedgehogs, shrews, common chameleon, ocellated lizard, various snakes, vipers and the natterjack toad.
Soils: As a main feature we have the steep slopes (40-50%), poor soil depth, stoniness and textures between frank and sandy loam.
